Urgent Repatriation Appeal For: Samrawit Repatriation

Urgent Repatriation Appeal (Samrawit Repatriation)

URGENT REPATRIATION APPEAL

In the early hours of Tuesday July 12th, a 19 year old Eritrean young woman was killed on the motorway in Calais in a hit and run incident as she was trying to reach her brother in London. The volunteers who knew Samrawit at The ‘unofficial’ Women’s and Children’s centre the Jungle Calaisdescribed her as a sweet gentle girl and we are all mourning her passing.

Our volunteers have been liaising closely with the Eritrean community, her family and Medicins du Monde in order to provide as much support as possible and to allow her body to be repatriated.

For that to happen, and in order for her grieving family to be with her one last time, we urgently need to raise €6000.

If you can spare any funds, us at Help Refugees and L’Auberge des Migrants, Médecins du Monde France, as well as her family would be eternally grateful.

Let us mark Samrawit’s tragic and unnecessary death by showing generosity and allowing her family to mourn.

Please reference payments with REPATTRIATION.

Thank you!
