Government of the Red Sea State and the visiting Turkish delegation led by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Hakan Jawish Oglu held Wednesday joint talks in Port Sudan city.

The talks reviewed horizons of cooperation and coordination to implement projects adopted as part of Strategic Partnership Agreement signed during visit of President of Turkey to Sudan in December of last year.

Governor “Wali” of the Red Sea State Ali Ahmed Hamid presented full briefing to the Turksih delegation about the State’s tremendous resources in areas of mining, tourism, industry, investment and agriculture.

For his part, Jawish Oglu described Suakin as city of civilizations and façade of Africa to the holy sites, stressing Turkey concern with restoration of Island of Sauakin to be a destination for tourists from different parts of the world.
