According to credible assenna.com sources from Eritrea & both sides of the border, heavy fighting took place between Eritrean and Ethiopian armies, a few kilometres away from Tserona town, central Eritrea towards the Eritrean-Ethiopian border. The fighting which started today June 12, at down, involved heavy weapons and the shelling was landing beyond the Eritrean town deep inside Eritrea. According to the sources, Ethiopian army is advancing towards Una-Yishak village in Eritrea, after securing Akran area. Although the shelling subsided for some hours, there is not confirmation the fighting has stopped. Updates will follow
