Eritreans in North America United in Support of the United Nations Commission of

Inquiry would like to cordially announce a major Demonstration at the United Nations

Headquarters in New York in support of the Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in

Eritrea.

History was made on, June 26, 2015, where demonstrations were held in Geneva,

Switzerland; Tel Aviv, Israel; and multiple locations in Ethiopia; in support of the

Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in Eritrea. Let us use this momentum and once again show the world our support for the Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in

Eritrea.

In June 2015, the Commission of Inquiry released a 485-page report of egregious

human rights violations in our country, Eritrea; with indictments for Crimes Against

Humanity hovering over the tyrannical PFDJ regime led by Isaias Afewerki and senior

PFDJ officials. It is paramount that we express our firm and unequivocal support of the

COIE, in order to help bring into account the brutal dictatorship in Eritrea; and demand

that the Eritrean PFDJ regime, led by Isaias Afewerki, be held accountable for their

actions.

Therefore, we are kindly urging all Eritreans, friends of Eritrea, human rights activists,

religious leaders, political and civic organizations, as well as all media platforms to

support this crucial demonstration in support of the Commission of Inquiry on Human

Rights in Eritrea to complete an undertaking of the highest urgency for the Eritrean

people. Each one of us can make a difference, to ensure that the voices of the Eritrean

people are heard. Thus let us all raise our voices together for Justice, Liberty and a

Democratic Eritrea.

The demonstration will take place at the United Nations Headquarters,

East 47^th Street, between 1^st Ave & 2^nd Ave, New York, New York City

ብ 26 ሰነ 2015፡ ኣብ ጀኔቫ – ስዊዘርላንድ፡ ተልኣቪቭ – እስራኤል ከመኡውን አብ ብዙሓት ከባቢታት ናይ ኢትዮጲያ ንጸብጻብ መርማሪት ኮሚሽን ብዝድግፉ ዕውታት ሰላማዊ ሰልፍታት ታሪኽ ተሰሪሑ። ነዚ ተጀሚሩ ዘሎ ዘሕብን ስራሕ ብናህሪ ምቕጻልን ንማሕበረ ሰብ ዓለም ድማ ንጸብጻብ መርማሪት ኮሚሽን ዘሎና ደገፍ ምርኣይን ኣገዳሲ’ዩ።

ኣብ ሰነ 2015 መርማሪት ኮሚሽን ንሰብኣዊ መሰላት ኣብ ኤርትራ 485 ገጻት ዝሓዘ ዘሕዝንን ኣነዋሪ መልክዕ ስርዓት ኤርትራ ናብ ቅርዓት ዘውጽአን ኩነታት ሰብኣዊ መሰላት ኣብ ኤርትራ ዘቃለዐን ጸብጻብ ዘርጊሓ። እዚ መሰረት ብምግባር ኢሳያስ ኣፈወርቅን ሓለፍቲ ህግደፍን ኣንጸላልይዎም ዘሎ ዓለም ለኻዊ ፍርዲ ክውን ንምግባር ድምጽና ብዓውታ ከነስምዕ ኣሎና።

እምበኣርከስ ነዚ ኣገዳሲ ሰላማዊ ሰልፊ’ዚ ኩሉ ኤርትራዊ ፖለቲካዊ ሰልፍታት፡ ሲቪካዊ ማሕበራት፡ ናይ ሚድያ ትካላት፡ መራሕቲ ሃይማኖትን ውልቀሰባትን ከምኡ’ውን ኩሎም ፈተውቲ ኤርትራ ክድግፍዎን ክጽንበርዎን ንጽውዕ።

ነዚ ድምጹ ተዓፊኑ ዘሎ ህዝብና ድምጺ ክንኮኖ ብሓባር ንልዓል! ሓራን ደሞክራሲያዊትን ፍትሓዊትን ኤርትራ ክውንቲ ንምግባር ድምጽና ክብ ነብል!
