The North America Support Group (NASG), that was established under the mandate of the ENCDC Preparatory Committee (PC) on May 01, 2015, has been conducting several meeting of its members, and is now making the necessary final arrangements to reach out to all Eritreans in North America.
Dear Eritreans and dear ENCDC (Bayto) members: To free its people from the shackles of the tyrant, today it is high-time that the all of the opposition groups strengthen their unity, and fight the Asmara government which is already in the brink of collapse. Keeping this in mind, the NASG has been creating the foundational conditions necessary to engage its people in the preparation for the 2nd Eritrean National Congress. Some of the actions NASG has taken to date include:
- Create Media and Languages Committee to communicate with the public.
- Create Financial Committee to manage the finances of the group.
- Setting modalities for dissemination to and collecting input from Eritreans in North America on the Bayto’s three structural documents (Political Charter, Constitution, and Roadmap). These draft documents were received from the PC last week and will be disseminated to the public soon.
- Invited to participate on the “SMERRR 4 CHANGE” pal talk on June 06, 2015, 8:00 P.M. Berlin Time (12:00 PM ) Pacific Time, 02:00 P.M. Mid- West; 03:00 P.M East Time) to discuss the NASG activities and provide information on the preparatory work for the 2nd Eritrean National Congress.
