It is with the utmost delight and pride that I read and heard Dr. Birhanu Nega’s decisive decision to go back to neighboring Eritrea and join Th Patriotic Ginbot7 forces to face the enemy of his country head on. Even though it is a long over due decision, I commend and congratulate Dr. Birhanu and the rest of the members of the leadership of the movement who joined this courageous and selfless Ethiopian patriot.<\/p>\n
I must admit with all candidness that I was in the forefront who adamantly opposes the unlikely marriage between Ethiopia and Eritrea while that country is still under the leadership of Issayas Afewrki. I hold Mr. Issayas Afewerki as one of culprits, responsible for all the mess our country is today. I remain convinced that nothing worthwhile or beneficial for Ethiopia and its people will come out from Eritrea while that man is still at the helm of the Eritrean leadership. Let it be known Issayas Afewerki will never allow to see a united, strong and stable Ethiopia.<\/p>\n
Now the line is drawn on the sand and the lives of my fellow Ethiopians brothers and sisters is at stake. It is now sink or swim, a sruggle for life or death. Regardless of my own personal beliefs, I will do everything humanly possible to stand by Dr. Birhanu Nega and the fearless brothers and sisters who are so ready and willing to pay the ultimate sacrifices to liberate Ethiopia from the jaws of TPLF thugs.<\/p>\n
It is now high time to put our personal differences and political ideologies aside and come together in unity and follow the paradgim of Dr. Birhanu Nega and give our full support to the armed struggle. Now is the time to keep the enemy busy from every corner of the country. Engage him from the Afar depression to the plains of the Ogaden. From the Semen mountains of Gonder to the central highlands of Shewa. Let’s surprise the enemy from the far west of Gambela to the deep valleys and jungles of the Oromo. Let’s bleve in ourselves and have the resolve and the determination that we can indeed dismantle and destroy the web that the enemy created among us. I know without a shadow of a doubt, that the enemy does not have enough bullets to kill us all.<\/p>\n
Victory belongs to the people of Ethiopia and the time is fast approaching. Congratulation Dr. Birhanu for setting the standard and leading by example. You are not alone we are in this together.<\/p>\n
